Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is pleased to announce the hiring of Valerie Johnson as the Director of Product Program. Valerie is responsible for managing the Girl Scout Cookie Program in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Valerie brings with her an extensive background in development operations, data management, process development and community relations.
“Valerie came aboard as we entered the pandemic, faced with a completely uncharted path ahead of her, and we could not be prouder of her resilience in this turbulent time,” said Chelsea Wilkerson, CEO, Girl Scouts Tropical Florida.
Prior to joining Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida, Valerie served as
the Director of Advancement Services for Jackson Health Foundation
where she was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of
the development team. Valerie has also held positions with the
University of Miami, the University of Central Florida, and Florida
Hospital. Valerie earned her master’s degree in healthcare
administration and management from the University of Central Florida
and bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of
Central Florida. She is certified in project management and nonprofit
operations management from the University of Miami.
