JAaliyah was GSTF’s top 2025 cookie seller. She shared more about how she sold the thousands of cookies that helped get her to the top.
I’m a third year Cadette and “The Neighborhood Cookie dealer of Liberty City” as my customers named me.
To be exact, I sold 7,256 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. This cookie season I created my very own cookie store “JAaliyah’s Girl Scout Shoppe” with the help of my cookie crew, my family. Making lots of flyers, a commercial to promote my cookie business and turning my mom‘s car into my personal cookie delivery vehicle. I sold cookies every day in school during lunch to my peers and teachers, opened my cookie store everyday afterschool all while balancing a bunch of homework. When sales started to decrease at my cookie store for the very first time ever since being a Girl Scout, I sold cookies at Publix whenever a booth would be available on Sunday evenings.
I used the price increase as an advantage, for example, if someone purchased three boxes of cookies, I would ask if they would like to donate their $2.00 change to our local Hometown Heroes. At the end of cookie season, it all added up. This year I also had two special customers who donated towards Hometown Heroes to help me get closer to my goal.
Well Girl Scout S’mores will forever be my favorite, but I also like Adventurefuls.
You must keep all flavors on hand to keep your customers happy.
Hard work and dedication always pay off.
“BE ORIGINAL” – build support from your community, set a goal for your business and never go anywhere without cookies doing Girl Scout cookie season you never know who may be your next customer.
