For 100 years, Girl Scouts in Miami and the Keys have found a way to dream big and do good. From acting as environmental stewards to stocking their local food pantry, there is no challenge too big or need too small for Girl Scouts to lead on solutions. Founded in 1923 by the first troop in Coconut Grove, today, Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is the leading organization for girl development serving nearly 3,000 girls across every zip code in Miami and the Keys.
The 2022-2023 Girl Scout year will mark Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida’s 100th anniversary, where we will paint the town Girl Scout green, share stories of impact and successful Alumni, and further our investments to ensure the future of Girl Scouting in Miami and the Keys. Our hope is to deepen the relationships between the Girl Scout family and the community to take ownership of investing in today’s girls and tomorrow’s leaders.
