The early bird gets the patch, and so much more! When you continue your Girl Scout experience, you not only get another year of adventure, you can earn patches, events and more! To qualify for incentives, renew between April 1 - May 31, 2026 (unless otherwise noted).
Incentives
Patch: All girls who renew by May 31, 2026 – Early Bird patch
Renew by May 1 to receive Early Bird Patches for Troop end-of-year ceremony.
Camping Overnight: First troop to renew at least 80% of girls and at least 2 adults: free weekend (2 nights) at Camp Mahachee
Pizza Party: Troops that register 80% of girls and at least 2 troop leaders by May 1 will be placed in a drawing to win a pizza party with GSTF CEO Chelsea Wilkerson.
Summer Summit: Renewed volunteers of Troops who renew 80% of girls and at least 2 adults by May 31, 2026: reduced registration fee on Summer Summit for all renewed adults.
Team Player Cookie Bonus: Troops that renew at least 80% of girls and 2 adults by April 8 at 11:59 pm will receive an additional $0.05 per package sold towards the Team Player Bonus in the 2027 Cookie Program. The troop must qualify for the Team Player bonus.
Council Service Fee Refund: Troops are eligible to receive a refund of the council service fee for each girl registered during the Early Bird campaign only if all of the following conditions are met:

The 80% calculation is based on the troop’s official roster as of 7:59 AM EDT on April 1, 2026.
Only completed registrations paid from the troop bank account within the eligibility window count.
Adults registered outside the window do not count toward the minimum two adults.
