Camp Wesumkee is an 11-acre beautiful site located on the Atlantic Ocean. The site has a Wheelhouse with a meeting room and sleeping area and chickees. This oceanfront camp is for experienced campers and offers tidal pool observations, swimming, nature and marine study.
Girl Scout Camp Wesumkee is now open for troop tent camping (with required Troop Camp Training 102: Tent Camping).

Troop Leadership Responsibilities
Troop leaders are responsible for communicating and enforcing all safety regulations as outlined in Safety Activity Checkpoints and Volunteer Essentials.
Membership Requirement
All adults in overnight programs must be registered Girl Scout members.
Substance Use Policy
Volunteers and adults must not purchase, consume, possess, or be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance (including prescription or over-the-counter medications) that impairs judgment or performance:
During Girl Scout–sanctioned activities
While conducting Girl Scout business
In the presence of Girl Scout members
While wearing Girl Scout-branded clothing
Alcohol and impairing substances are strictly prohibited in the presence of youth members or immediately prior to any Girl Scout activity.
Weapons Policy
Firearms and weapons are prohibited at all Girl Scout activities and on Girl Scout-owned or leased properties, except when carried by:
Sworn law enforcement officers
Council-authorized property staff
Certified instructors
Licensed wildlife control personnel
Trained adults conducting council-approved target sport activities (with prior permission from GSTF)
Volunteers and adults must not carry firearms or ammunition in the presence of Girl Scout members without explicit council authorization.
Hydration
A hose is available with potable drinking water, but groups are encouraged to bring their own water.
Cleanup Responsibility
Each group is responsible for cleaning the property after their event, or overnight stay. Please bring cleaning supplies, including trash bags, as needed.
Banking Information
Troops must have a bank account on file. Submit banking details using the ACH Troop Information Form.
Trip & Travel Notification
Submit the Trip and Travel Form at least 10 days in advance for all day events and overnight trips.
Camping Requirement
At least one Troop Camp 102: Tent Camping Trained adult must be present for the entire duration of any overnight camping activity.
Cleaning
Girl Scouts always leave a place better than they found it. A cleaning checklist will be provided via email for self-check in and check out. If site is not left clean and in good condition, fines will be communicated in writing and withdrawn via ACH Transfer from the Community or Troop bank account within 5 business days.
