Camp Mahachee Rental Policy
Camp Mahachee is available for Girl Scout Troops or Girl Scout Communities to rent for Meetings, Day Activities and Overnights. Troops can reserve up to 3 months in advance and Communities up to 6 months in advance. Please note that our properties are usually closed over the summer for Summer Camp; troop reservations open in early August. Note: If camping overnight, please remember you must have at least 1 Troop Camp Trained adult present during your entire stay.
Times:
- Meetings: Mon-Sun, 6 PM-9 PM, Note: Reservations made with more than 2 meeting time slots will be cancelled and you will need to reserve a Day Event. Please be considerate of your sister troops.
- Day Event: Fri - Sun, 8 AM – 4 PM, Available upon request to customercare@girlscoutsfl.org.
- Overnight: Fri - Sun, 4 PM – 4 PM (24 hours), Available upon request to customercare@girlscoutsfl.org.

Overnights: 85 Registered Members (NO Tagalongs) Indoor Cabin - 11 Registered Members per cabin (NO Tagalongs)
Requirements and rules:
All participants in overnight programs must be registered members (Tagalongs are NOT permitted).
Attendees must bring a refillable water bottle to keep hydrated. A water fountain is available to refill bottles.
Each group is responsible to clean the property after their meeting, event and/or overnight.
Conduct continuous cleaning of high touch surfaces throughout the day.
Limited cleaning supplies are available. Bring extra supplies.
- Bank account must be on file. If you need to send us the banking information, use this form ACH Troop Information.
- Trip and Travel must be completed 10 days in advance for day events and overnights.
- Important: If camping overnight, please remember you must have at least 1 Troop Camp Trained adult present during your entire stay.
Girl Scouts always leave a place better than they found it. A cleaning checklist will be provided via email for self-check in and check out for the lodge and grounds. If site is not left clean and in good conditions, fines will be communicated in writing and withdrawn via ACH Transfer from the Community or Troop bank account within 5 business days. Interested in renting Camp Mahachee overnight? Send request to customercare@girlscoutsfl.org . All reservations are first come, first serve. If camping overnight, please remember you must have at least 1 Troop Camp Trained adult present during your entire stay.
Cancellation policy: Full refund is granted if cancellation is made at least two weeks (14 Days) in advance of the scheduled reservation. If cancellation is made less than two weeks before scheduled reservation, there will not be any refunds. Refunds must be requested in writing to customercare@girlscoutsfl.org.
