To celebrate Mother's Day, EcoAdventures will be guiding us out on
the water for a lovely sunset paddle. Come paddle to celebrate your
mother, your co-leaders, an influential woman in your life, or simply
come to spend time with Mother Earth, in this guided sunset kayak
along Biscayne Bay! Paddle along Crandon Park's protected mangrove
forest as your naturalist tells you all about this unique ecosystem
and its many inhabitants. Then, glide out into the bay to catch the
sunset against the glittering Miami skyline.
Registered adults
are welcome to attend without needing to accompany girls. Senior girls
will partially complete their Paddling Badge. Kayaks are
tandem (2 person), so we recommend registering in groups of
two. Juniors or Cadettes who are 14 years old or younger must
be partnered in a kayak with an adult 18 years or older. Closed toed
shoes and waivers are required for all participants.
