PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE. THIS EVENT IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR MAY 2, 2026.
Our friends at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School are
excited to welcome our Girl Scouts for a day of exploring South
Florida's most important ecosystems: mangrove forests and coral reefs.
Girls will visit a coral laboratory, investigate mangrove habitats and
their unique adaptations, and more-all while completing steps toward
their Junior Animal Habitats and Cadette Trees badges.
All
levels will also complete one or more steps of their STEM Career
Exploration Badge.
Location: Rosenstiel School / Key
Biscayne
Cost: $5/girl (includes lunch, badge, and fun patch),
$0/adult (no lunch provided).
Due to extremely limited adult
space, parents/leaders are encouraged to drop-off, forms and waivers
will be emailed in advance. No more than one adult per group
will be permitted to register. There will be a designated
adult waiting area on campus for those who prefer to remain on-site
but not participate.
