Get ready for a hands-on digital art adventure where creativity
meets technology! Using beginner-friendly coding tools, girls will
design and animate their own digital abstract art masterpiece while
learning the basics of art, design, and programming. Each Girl Scout
will earn an Art and Design Badge, Coding Basics Badge, a Code/Art fun
patch, plus take home digital artwork they coded themselves. After the
workshop, the fun continues at Code/Art Fest, with
interactive exhibits, creative activities, and tech inspiration for
the whole family. Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring their own
laptop, and adults can enjoy a free parent talk about AI, happening in
a nearby room.
Cost: $20/girl, includes all materials, 2 badges,
and a Code/Art fun patch
