Ready to take your troop camping skills up a notch? This training is designed for parents and leaders who have completed the Troop Camp Training and want to dive deeper into the world of tent camping.  You'll learn and practice essential skills, including setting up a campsite, camp kitchen, and pitching tents, camp cooking using multiple methods, Leave No Trace principles, flag retirement, and more!
Bonus Opportunity: Adults may complete their Tent Camp Training (TCT102) while the rest of their camp group is co-registered Coastlove Cleanup and Family Tent Camping at Wesumkee HERE, offered at the same time! Trainees will join in on some of the CoastLove Campout fun including mangrove planting, campfire, songs, and s'mores, plus a sunrise Yoga session.
Location: Camp Wesumkee
Cost: $25 includes Camp Wesumkee Patch, Saturday lunch, and Saturday night s'mores.  Attendees provide all other meals, equipment, cooking supplies and their own tents.  Please note that this is a rustic camping environment. GSTF will provide Portajohns, and potable water access via hose (no hot water, showers, or cabins available). More information including a packing list will be provided.
Two-night camping (Friday and Saturday night) is available upon request and approval from Council.
