GSTF is thrilled to partner with Cybersecurity and IT experts from
FPL to introduce our Girl Scouts to the exciting world of
cybersecurity. At this event, Juniors and Cadettes will learn the
basics of cybersecurity, experience a cyberattack, and get inside the
mind of a hacker. They will also learn how to protect themselves and
their data from cybercrime.
Girls will complete their Junior
Cybersecurity Safeguards (Badge 2) or their Cadette Cybersecurity
Basics (Badge 1). Note: Junior Badge 2 OR Cadette Badge 1 is included
in the workshop cost. Additional can be purchased via
GirlScoutShop.com.
Cost: $10/girl (includes all materials and
one badge).
Location: Camp Mahachee
Adult Participation: This is not a drop-off event- at least one
adult is required per group. To maximize space for our Junior/Cadette
Girl Scouts, please limit your adult registration to no more than 2
adults per 16 Girl Scouts. No tagalongs, please.
