Set sail on a science-filled adventure with Miami Waterkeeper aboard a Floating Classroom! In this immersive experience, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will work toward completing their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey while exploring the vibrant ecosystem of Biscayne Bay.

Girls will:
-Learn how scientists use the scientific method to study the natural world
-Conduct real-world water quality testing
-Collect and log marine debris
-Possibly even pilot an underwater drone!

This hands-on journey will cover all the steps of the Citizen Scientist Journey except the final Take Action project, which girls can complete on their own or with their troop.

Cost: $17/girl, $13/adult

Weather: Event runs rain or shine. In case of thunder/lightning, it will be rescheduled. Refunds available if you can't attend the new date.
Note: This is not a drop-off event. One registered adult is required per group of 6 Girl Scouts. No tagalongs, please.
Waivers from Miami Waterkeeper are required.

Bring a packed lunch, shoes that can get wet, sunscreen, hat and a reusable water bottle (please NO SINGLE USE PLASTICS).
