What better way to celebrate a birthday than with cupcakes and ice cream? How about Girl Scout Cookie-inspired sweets?!
Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida turns 100 in 2023. We’re kicking off a year-long celebration starting September 2022 at our annual signature event, GIRL Fest.
Local bakers, ice-cream makers and restauranteurs are helping us celebrate throughout the year by making Girl Scout Cookie-inspired confections.
To start us off on an extra sweet note, Misha’s Cupcakes will serve up Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie at Dark Chocolate Coconut Caramel cupcakes at its South Miami location from September 19 – 23, while supplies last.
Cold Stone Creamery Tamiami food truck will whip up ice cream and milkshakes topped with Thin Mints at GIRL Fest at Pinecrest Gardens on Septeber 24, while supplies last.
Cry Baby Creamery will serve Lemon Up, Samoa, Thin Mint and Tagalong inspired ice cream in January, in partnership with Girl Scout Troop 147. Follow on their Instagram for specific dates and offerings.
Sweet Melody will offer Samoa-flavored ice cream in January, also in partnership with Troop 147. Follow on their Instagram for specific dates.
Baked and Churned will have new toppings, in partnership with Troop 1825. Follow on their Instagram for specific dates.
Looking ahead to Spring 2023, we’ll partner with Zely’s Cupcakes on some delicious surprises.
Other local sweet shops like Dairy Queen (on Bird Road) are showing Girl Scout love with store signage.
