Let her know what area you live in and how our Girl Scouts can contact you. We will connect you with a Girl Scout in your community that you can directly help through your cookie purchase. Remember cookie season is only from December to February.

Selling Safely & Setting Goals
In order to have a safe and successful sale, girls and troops should follow these five easy steps:
1. Set and Share Troop Goals
It is a proven fact that goal setting goes hand in hand with higher sales. Girls should absolutely
be a part of this process.
2. Set and Share Personal Goals
Girls should write their troop and personal goals directly on their order card and share these with all
their customers.
3. Hold a Family Meeting
Girls who have parental support sell and average of 45% more Girl Scout Cookies.
4. Sell Beyond Family and Friends
Conduct a booth sale (or two or three)!
5. Check Your Progress
Girls who participate in a progress meeting sell an average of 20 more boxes of Girl Scout Cookies.
2007-2008 Cookie Dates:
- November 7 - Monroe Cookie Manager Training at Latitudes 6:30pm
- November - Service Unit Coordinators train Troop Cookie Managers
- November - Troop Cookie Manager train girls
- December 1 - Girls begin taking orders
- December 2 - Florida Keys Cookie Rally at Camp Wesumkee
- December 9 - Miami-Dade Cookie Rally at Miami Seaquarium - Event Tent
- December 14 - Troops enter initial orders into E-BUDDE on-line 24 hours a day until December 16th.
Girls can continue to take orders!
- December 16 - Serivce Units submit cookie orders on E-BUDDE to Council
- January 14-17 - Troop cookie pickup and delivery of initial orders
- January 18 - DIRECT AND BOOTH SALES BEGIN
- January 26 - Cookie "Walk of Fame" Day. Special Patch for door to door sales made this day.

- February 1-3 - Last weekend to "Make it a Hit" Cookie Sales--Promote cookies for Super Bowl Parties!
- February 7 - COOKIE DIRECT SALES END
- February 8-10 - Cleanup Weekend! Last chance to move left over cookies.
- February 15 - Girls turn in balance of cookie money to Troop Cookie Manager
- February 20 - Troops turn in paperwork, deposit slips & incentive orders to Service Unit
- Early April - Award shipped to Service Unit! YEAH!
- April 26 - Dream Team Day 2008 at Miami Seaquarium *BY INVITATION ONLY*
- April 27 - Spectacular Season Award Celebration at Camp Choee
