Who Rescued Who? (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Who: Juniors ans Cadettes
What: Connect with animals and discover how they help us with this journey. Take a tour of a Rescue Shelter and learn how we can take care of various domestic animals. Meet service animal and explore the numerous ways animals assist people.
When: Friday, February 8th 6pm-7pm & Saturday, February 9th 12pm-2pm
Where: Humane Society (16101 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Bch, FL)
Why: Girls will learn various parts of the Animal Badge.
How: Complete a Registration form and send to Lois Auerbach.

Art Deco Walk (8:45 AM)
Who:Everyone. Troops, The community
What:This is a 3.5 mile hike around the historical Art Deco district of Miami Beach. Scouts will learn the architectural style of this period. Our Deco district is one of the largest collection of buildings remaining in the world.
When:Sunday, February 10th Reg. at 8:45am. Walk at 9am.
Where: Parking lot at 17th Street & Drexel, Miami Beach. Guide will be provided if desired.
Why:Leader gets the Leaders Guide, map and scouts receive a workbook consisting of architectural renderings of the Deco style map which they can follow where they are on the route, Deco Walk Patch, the troop receives a Certificate of Completion.

IGirls STEM Initiative: Event #3 Engineering (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Who: Juniors and Cadettes, Girls in grades 4-8
What: i-Girls STEM Initiative Event Engineering
When: Saturday, February 16th from 1pm-4pm
Where:North Dade TBA
Why:Girls will earn a STEM Patch and a certificate. Most importantly girls will be inspired and encourage to become the next generation of inovators in the STEM related fields.To complete the program the girls MUST attend an iGirlSTEM Initiative-Series then participate in an iGirlSTEM Initiative-Event. Non-Girl Scouts will receive FREE membership.

What: Discover the tropical world of the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Gardens. Learn about native plants, as well at endangered flora and fauna that call this paradise home.
When:Saturday, February 23rd from 10:00am -12:00pm

Why:The girls will learn different parts of the various It’s Your Planet Journeys Between Earth and Sky ‘‘Clover’’, Wonders of Water‘‘SaveWater’’, Get Moving ‘‘Investigate’’.
